ABOUT
Worked in collaboration with three other design students in the University of Maryland Graphic Design concentration called TYPES/THETIC. The magalog was designed with a multi-purpose intention of being a typeface design resource and an aesthetic coffee table book.

We used a 3D printer and laser cutter to recreate the NYC Subway map on the cover. Each typeface in the book has a personality that relates to a neighborhood in NYC.

By including a wood cover 3D-printed illustration of the New York City subway map, the book is unique and a standout from other coffee table books. TYPES/THETIC manually created all book covers by laserprinting a conceptual illustration of the New York Subway map design on wood blocks.
