Hi, I’m Nursena (which means "light").
I'm a NYC-based designer and art director fascinated with finding through lines in the visual that informs meaning and storytelling. My work is fueled by culture, a deep research of symbolism, and late-night coffee. I approach design using defined concept and craft to shape the way visuals build and carry a narrative.
As Art Director at MV / Fast Company, I oversee the development of branded content and the design of editorial packages for platforms, working across art and digital departments to bring visual design to storytelling.
When I’m not designing, you can find me escaping into a novel or staring at a Magritte in the MoMA.
HMU if you need café recs or also believe black coffee is the only real way to drink it.
