State of Mind by TYPE/STHETIC
State of Mind asks a simple question: how do you brand a feeling?
New York City’s subway stops and a love letter for typography all in a book.
Each neighborhood’s typeface becomes a design response to lived energy, part research, part intuition, part rebellion.
Worked in collaboration with three other design students in the University of Maryland Graphic Design concentration called TYPES/THETIC. The magalog was designed with a multi-purpose intention of being a typeface design resource and an aesthetic coffee table book.
